Helen Allen trained originally as a textile designer and is a graduate of the English Gardening School, Chelsea Physic Garden where she is now Course Director of the one-year diploma course in Botanical Painting and Illustration. Helen has exhibited at Ebury Galleries, the Garden Museum, Chelsea Physic Garden, Hortus, Hampton Court Palace and the Shirley Sherwood Gallery in London; Ursus Gallery and Brooklyn Botanical Garden, New York and the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, Pittsburgh, USA. Helen’s work can be found in the Highgrove Florilegium and also the archives of the Hunt Institute, the Chelsea Physic Garden and Hampton Court Palace.
