Photographic session with Derry Moore at his studios in Notting Hill.
Derry Moore (Lord Drogheda) is a photographer known both for his portraits and for his photographs of gardens, houses and interiors. The National Portrait Gallery has 37 of his portraits in its collection. His many subjects include Queen Elizabeth, Princess Diana, Indira Gandhi, Alan Bennett, Oskar Kokoschka, Rudolf Nureyev, John Gielgud, David Bowie and Helena Bonham Carter (shown here). Moore's work has appeared in numerous books, including Evening Ragas – A Photographer in India (1997) and Inside the House of Lords (1998), as well as in magazines such as Country Life, The World of Interiors and Apollo.
The prize includes two final prints of the portrait.
